Equine Obituary - JFK's Irish Dream

World  Grand Champion JFK’s Irish Dream passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, at  the age of fifteen.  Irish Dream and her unborn Jose’ Jose’ foal had  recently been purchased for Georgia Hazelwood for her to begin showing  in the halter division.

World  Grand Champion JFK’s Irish Dream passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, at  the age of fifteen.  Irish Dream and her unborn Jose’ Jose’ foal had  recently been purchased for Georgia Hazelwood for her to begin showing  in the halter division.  
 

Irish  Dream carried Sue Harrington to multiple World Champion titles in the  Owner Amateur Lady Riders division at the 2006 and 2007 Celebration,  along with reserve honors in the Owner/Amateur Mares or Geldings World  Grand Championship in 2007 and a spotlight ride as the 2006  Owner/Amateur Mares or Geldings World Grand Champion.  The talented mare  also claimed World Championship honors in 2007 and 2010 in the Aged  Mare Canter division, with Joe Cotten in the irons.  She claimed WHTA  Horse of the Year honors in 2006 in the Ladies Amateur Specialty  division and in 2010 in the 15.2 & Over Mares division.
 

JFK’s Irish Dream was laid to rest at Jacoby Farm, in Columbia, Tenn.  Jacoby Farm is owned by Georgia’s father and grandmother.
